I hope this helps you . I'm new with Python! , Try doing this in your code:
code :
        with open('line.txt','r') as f:
            filedata = f.read()
            filedata = filedata.replace(replace , word + "\n" )
            filedata = filedata.replace(replacetwo , words + "\n" )

        with open('line.txt','w') as f:
            f.write(filedata)

will be helpful for those in need Here is a problem which is annoying me during these last two hours. I have a template file with multiple lines and in some lines some words have to be changed by some others. Here is how my template looks like: , @eumiro guessed right: one of your spaces isn't a space.
code :
>>> repr('subnet {{ MY_SUBNET }} netmask {{ MY_NETMASK }} {}')
"'subnet {{ MY_SUBNET }} netmask {{ MY_NETMASK\\xc2\\xa0}} {}'"
                                              ^^^^^^^^^^

it should still fix some issue It looks like you are trying to write the same line to the file twice, which may be giving you a problem. Try doing all of your modifications to line first, and then writing to the file:
code :
with open("dest.txt", "w") as template:
  for line in lines:
    line = re.sub(field_one, one, line) # modify first
    line = re.sub(field_two, two, line)
    template.write(line) # write once after modifying

Any of those help I want to write a python script to replace first word in multiple lines after my pattern, by now I can only replace 1 line after my pattern, how can it replace more lines? Let's say 3 lines.
code :
list_of_words_to_replace = ['mod','apple','xxx']
with open('E:/lines.txt') as fin, open('E:/lines_mod.txt', 'w') as fout:
    flag = 0
    counter = 0  # <<<<------- added a counter
    for line in fin:
        if flag == 1:
            counter += 1 #<<<<-------- increasing counter by one every time it loops
            mod_line = list_of_words_to_replace[counter-1] + line.split()[-1] + '\n' #<---- changed 'mod' to a list of words to replaced.... yes I know it's counter - 1 because we made counter start at 1 before counting and list index starts at 0
            fout.write(mod_line)
            if counter > 3: #replaces 3 lines you can replace the number 3 with however many lines you want to override.
                flag = 0
            continue
        fout.write(line)
        if line.find('section 2') != -1:
            flag = 1
            counter = 0 #<<<<--------- just in case you want to find anotehr section

Hope that helps You have to create a raw string to prevent python from parsing the input string before passing it on the OS call.
The below example illustrates this
code :
sed -i -e '/NATOMS/c\NATOMS     5   -1.10\n hi\nbye' sedinp.txt
>>> normalcmd="sed -i -e '/NATOMS/c\NATOMS     5   -1.10\n hi\nbye' sedinp.txt"
>>> print normalcmd
sed -i -e '/NATOMS/c\NATOMS     5   -1.10
 hi
bye' sedinp.txt
>>>
>>> rawcmd=r"sed -i -e '/NATOMS/c\NATOMS     5   -1.10\n hi\nbye' sedinp.txt"
>>> print rawcmd
sed -i -e '/NATOMS/c\NATOMS     5   -1.10\n hi\nbye' sedinp.txt
>>>
>>> os.system(rawcmd)
0
>>>

help you fix your problem Here it seems that you want the same API(with the same port number all the time) to be called when you run the python script. that can be done by addingapp.run(port=50000, debug=True) at the end.
And place all @app.route() in that same python script (App.py) by migrating body of the Def methodName(): to a different Python script in the same directory and calling that by addingfrom .SubScript import *
