wish help you to fix your issue Not programmatically you can do the following: Based on the overpass API you can take use of the overpass API turbo engine. With that engine it's possible to extract all the data from the OpenStreetMap database including geometries of buildings and their coordinates. If you want to query ALL buildings in a specific boundary box just do:
code :
 (
  way[building]({{bbox}});
  >;

 );
  out skel;
(
  way[building][key=value]({{bbox}});
  >;

 );
  out skel;

I hope this helps . When you manually create an RMShape, you need to tell it where to move and to draw after creating it with methods like -moveToCoordinate: and -addLineToCoordinate:. If you just have basic needs, I would recommend trying RMPolylineAnnotation, which handles the drawing for you.

seems to work fine OpenCV has solution for you, but it depends on accuracy. You can start from approximate chain -- it will approximate your shape by polygonal curve and gives you vertex coordinates. You can always make it more precise testing it bypointpolygontest OpenCV function or fitting by fitLine function. Sure you need first to find edges (openCV has Canny edge detection etc) and countours first (see links above for findContours function description). So your steps are:
find Edges find contour approximate contour by polygonal curve fit polygonal curve

it fixes the issue I've manage to achieve the above by using getPaintProperty and setPaintProperty where you can get a property from a hidden layer with something like
mapInstance.getPaintProperty("hidden layer name", "fill-color");

this will help I have a well working VBA script that when a target cell with the value, "Click to Learn More" is clicked, a corresponding informational pop-up shape is made visible. , Here is an illustration:
code :
Private Sub Worksheet_SelectionChange(ByVal Target As Range)

Dim s As Shape

Set s = ActiveSheet.Shapes("Rectangle 1")

If Target.Address = "$G$10" Then
    With s
        .Visible = True
        .Left = Target.Left - s.Width - 10
        .Top = Target.Top + (Target.Height - s.Height) / 2
    End With
Else
    s.Visible = False
End If

End Sub

I wish did fix the issue. Here are found very nice github project that have same funtionality what you want but this is in Objective-C might be you can convert this code in to swift check the link following:
