I hope this helps . You can use ngIf directive or safe navigation operator (?) (known also as Elvis operator) to "protect" your template:
ngIf directive
code :
<div *ngIf="foo">
<ActionBar [title]="foo.name"></ActionBar>
<GridLayout>
    <Label [text]="foo.description"></Label>
</GridLayout>
</div>
<ActionBar [title]="foo?.name"></ActionBar>
<GridLayout>
    <Label [text]="foo?.description"></Label>
</GridLayout>
</div>

will be helpful for those in need You are JSON.stringifying the data which means that you are turning your data object into a string and inside the html you are trying to select the strings field like an object.
Remove the JSON.stringify from data.
code :
.subscribe((data) => this.users = data,
<StackLayout>
        <Label [text]="users?.Collection[0].BookingReferenceID"> </Label>
</StackLayout>

I wish this help you Your ngOnInit is calling the method findLocalIP() in the service, and that's where the error happens.
Your problem should be in the following line:
code :
let data = JSON.parse(appSettings.getString('retail_mobile'));
let data = appSettings.getString('retail_mobile')
findLocalIP() {
   let d = appSettings.getString('retail_mobile'); // add
   let d1 = JSON.stringify(d); // make it json
   let data = JSON.parse(d1); // now parse it
   if (data === null) {
    console.log("No entry found in local storage...");
    return null;
   }
retail_mobile = "{ something: "something" }"
let data = JSON.stringify(retail_mobile);
console.log(JSON.parse(data));

it helps some times You are not using any binding for your busy attribute. Change your code so atht your property will have one-way binding
code :
ActivityIndicator [busy]="busy"></ActivityIndicator>
<StackLayout>
    <Button text="Toggle Busy property" (tap)="toogleIndicator()"></Button>
    <ActivityIndicator #activityIndicator width="100" height="100" [busy]="busy" ></ActivityIndicator>
</StackLayout>
import { Component, ViewChild, ElementRef, OnInit } from "@angular/core";
import { ActivityIndicator } from "ui/activity-indicator";

@Component({
    moduleId: module.id,
    templateUrl: "./setting-busy.component.html"
})
export class AppComponent implements OnInit {
    public activityIndicator: ActivityIndicator;
    public busy: boolean;

    @ViewChild("activityIndicator") ac: ElementRef;

    ngOnInit() {
        this.activityIndicator = this.ac.nativeElement;
        this.busy = true;
    }

    public toogleIndicator() {
        this.activityIndicator.busy = !this.activityIndicator.busy;
    }
}

This might help you you likely need to have the same settings for your gridlayout rows and columns your snippet above has different column values - so they won't align very well depending on the content
