I wish this help you Your links are relative to the current page. If you're at /DC5/ and click on S13, you'll end up at /DC5/S13, not /S13. You could fix this by making your URLs absolute:
code :
<a href="/S13">S13</a>
<a href="{{ url_for('S13') }}">S13</a>

fixed the issue. Will look into that further You may be thinking about layouts the wrong way. Your layout is the most generic of your templates, not your most complex one. If you need little self-contained pieces of functionality then write them up just as they are and include them where they are needed.
That is to say, if you want something like this:
code :
----------------------------------
                  +--------------+
  Header          |   Login      |
                  +--------------+
----------------------------------

  Body Content (Blog)
----------------------------------

  Header

----------------------------------

  +--------------+
  |   Login      |
  +--------------+
<form action="/login" method="post">
<!-- Your login goes here -->
</form>
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
{% block head %}
{#
Default HEAD content goes here
with extra nested blocks for children to override
if needed.
#}
{% endblock head %}
</head>
<body>
<header>{% block header %}{% endblock header %}</header>
{# Note: This assumes we *always* want a header #}
{% block content %}{% endblock content %}
</body>
</html>
{% extends "your_base.html" -%}
{% block content -%}
{% include "partials/login.html" %}
{%- endblock content %}
{% extends "your_base.html" -%}
{% block header -%}
{{ super() }}{# Render the default header contents here #}
{% include "partials/login.html" %}
{%- endblock header %}
{% block content -%}
{# Render your blog posts here #}
{%- endblock content %}

I hope this helps . by default jinja2 (the template engine for flask) assumes input inside of {{ }} is unsafe and will not allow js or html inside of them ... you can solve this by using the safe filter inside your template. this will tell jinja2 that the content is safe to render as is, and not to escape the html/javascript
code :
{{ post.body | safe }}

Any of those help Maybe a little bit too late... The issue was, that I'd changed my IDE. Before I'd used PyCharm, then I switched to Visual Studio. It looks like they both use different encoding and something broke during migration. Creating new file and copying content was the solution.

To fix this issue You also appear to me missing the closing '%' on the link template tag. It should be
code :
<a class="nav-link js-scroll-trigger" href="{% url 'products' %}">Products</a>

With these it helps The render_template function accepts arbitrary variables.
Simply:
code :
render_template(‘index.html’, myurl=myurl)
<a href=“{{myurl}}”> login </a>
