Creating a for loop to continue to count

will help you You need an additional loop if you do not want to use something like std::string. The inner loop will add L with it's respective amount per line to the output. Once all the amount of Ls are written, you end the line.
Something like:
code :
int main() {

    for (int a = 1; a < 5; a++)
    {
        for (int l = 1; l <= a; l++)
        {
            std::cout << "L";
        }
        std::cout << std::endl;
    }

    return 1;
}

Any of those help While loops will run as long as the condition remains true. So as long as you return rows, the code inside will get executed. If you return false, the while loop will terminate. If you want to conditionally avoid running code within the loop, your option is to return something like 'SKIP' and then inside the while loop check if $a == 'SKIP' and then issue a continue.
code :
while($a = getrow()){
    if($a == 'SKIP')
        continue;
    //code
}

With these it helps Problem is I will print all the characters in the keyboard, however everytime it counts 10 the program will stop then press any key to continue.. the sequence will continue.. so far this is what i've done.
code :
public static void main(String a[]){
        int count = 0;
        for (int i = 0; i<=255; i++){
            if(count == 10){
                System.out.println("Press \"ENTER\" to continue...");
                Scanner scanner = new Scanner(System.in);
                scanner.nextLine();
                count = 0;
            }else{
                System.out.printf("%d\t%c\n",i,i);
                count++;
            }

        }
    }
Why does a variable assignment in a loop before a continue statement count as never read?

I hope this helps you . The compiler is not well aware of the flow break controls because of a bug. If you can, you should use an expression oriented syntax that is more idiomatic:
code :
fn main() {
    let mut i = None;

    let mut cond = true;
    while true && i.map_or(true, |x| x < 10) {
        i = if cond {
            cond = false;
            Some(0)
        } else {
            Some(5)
        }
    }
}

Hope that helps New to coding and cant figure out why continue wont work in my for loop. After the print statements, I want to start the loop over again from the top. If anyone could let me know what im doing wrong that would be great. I am not allowed to share the cse231_random file sorry if this makes it so you cant run it. , Should the whole body be in indented?
code :
for i in range(length):
    index=randint(0, len(ALPHABET_EASY))
    easy_str += ALPHABET_EASY[index]
    print(easy_str)
    start= time.time()
    easy_input=input("\nEnter this string:")
    stop= time.time()
    easy_input=easy_input.replace(" ", "")
    easy_input=easy_input
    if stop-start>10:
        print("Oops! Too much time.")
        continue
    elif easy_input.lower()==easy_str.lower():
        print("Good job! You spent {} of 10 seconds entering string [{}][{}]".format(stop-   start,easy_str,easy_input))
        continue
    elif easy_input.lower()!=easy_str.lower():
        print("Incorrect.")
        continue

I think the issue was by ths following , This code print like this. 16 times pictures then 16 times same codes again 16 times pictures then 16 times different codes.
code :
$resId = 11;

$counter = 0;
$ids=array(17,34,51,68,85,102,119,136,153,170,187,204,221,238,255,272,289,306,323);

$stmt = $pdo->prepare( 'select * from `lappu` where `resturantid` = :id' );
$stmt->bindParam( ':id', $resId );
$stmt->execute();

$codes=array();

while( $row = $stmt->fetch( PDO::FETCH_ASSOC ) ) {
    $codes[ $row['resturantid'] ] = $row['code'];
    $counter++;
}

for( $x = 1; $x <= $counter; $x++ ) {
    if ( in_array( $x, $ids ) ) {

        $code=$codes[ $x ];

        for ( $b = 1; $b <= 16; $b++ ) {
            echo 'pictures'.'<br>';
        }

        for ( $b = 1; $b <= 16; $b++ ) {
            echo $code.'<br>';
        }
    }
}
