around this issue I ended up with set deployment properties with "app.xxx.spring.cloud.deployer.kubernetes.limits.memory=300Mi", and it finally succeeded. It's likely that I got wrong with the way passing deployment properties.

hop of those help? The problem was with my docker image. I still don't know the details but using the Dockerfile indicated at https://spring.io/guides/gs/spring-boot-docker/ instantiated 2 processes in the docker container, one with the parameters, and other without, which was the one with uptime and therefore being used.
The solution was to replace
code :
ENTRYPOINT [ "sh", "-c", "java $JAVA_OPTS -Djava.security.egd=file:/dev/./urandom -jar /app.jar" ]
ENTRYPOINT [ "java", "-jar", "/app.jar" ]

like below fixes the issue When deploying a stream with deployer properties, you'd have to use the deployer prefix.
For instance, consider the following stream.
code :
deployer.http.kubernetes.createLoadBalancer=true

hope this fix your issue This got fixed when i removed below properties from the env properties list and skipper started using the default service instead of my user account
name: "SPRING_CLOUD_SKIPPER_SERVER_PLATFORM_KUBERNETES_ACCOUNTS_K8S_FABRIC8_USERNAME" value: "" - name: "SPRING_CLOUD_SKIPPER_SERVER_PLATFORM_KUBERNETES_ACCOUNTS_K8S_FABRIC8_PASSWORD" value: ""
