it helps some times requests automatically follows redirects; in this case, you are being redirected back to the store page, which itself returns a 200. You can either disable the redirect by passing allow_redirects=False to .get, or you can verify r2.url is still the checkout path.

I hope this helps . In HTTP 1.1, clients are able to send multiple requests through the same connection by setting the Keep-Alive header. Otherwise you would have to open a new connection for every single request. With Keep-Alive set, multiple requests can be sent over the same connection.
Opening a connection is time costly, as it requires an additional round trip for the TCP handshake before you can make the next request, so it is faster to reuse an already existing connection instead.

may help you . there is no 'null' in python! replace 'null' by 'None' and and try or use this
code :
data = {'query':'{__schema{queryType{fields{name description}}}}','variables':None,'operationName':None}
headers = {'Authorization': 'Bearer 9d5de88248563ebc0d2ad688d0473f56fcd31c600e419d6c8962f6aed0150599','Host': 'graphql.contentful.com'}
response = requests.post('http://graphql.contentful.com/content/v1/spaces/f8bqpb154z8p/environments/master?', json=data, headers=headers)

around this issue I wasn't sending a proper response code back to the client.
Adding this in the do_POST method fixed it.
code :
self.send_response(200, "OK")
self.end_headers()

may help you . The problem actually lies with python's standard url access libraries - urllib/urllib2/httplib. I can't remember which library is the exact culprit, but for simplicity's sake, let's just call it urllib. Unfortunately, urllib doesn't implement the HTTP Connect method which is required for accessing an https site through an http(s) proxy. My efforts to add the functionality using urllib have not been successful (it has been a while since I tried). So unfortunately the only option I know to work is to use pycurl for this case.
However, there is a solution which is relatively clean that is almost exactly the same API as python requests, but it uses a pycurl backend instead of the python standard libraries.

hope this fix your issue The only time we ever change a POST request to a GET is when we're handling a redirect. Depending on the redirect code, we will change the request method. If you want to be sure that we don't follow redirects, you need to pass allow_redirects=False. That said, you need to figure out why your application is generating redirects (including if it's redirecting to HTTP or to a different domain, or using a specific status code).
