should help you out I don't know what is wrong, but in recent versions of MySQL you can work it around using information_schema.processlist:

I hope this helps you . You can look into sp_who and sp_who2 to see if they give you what you need. Otherwise, SQL Profiler can often help with problem diagnoses.

To fix the issue you can do Does it have to be done with a sproc call? SQL Server Management Studio (the link is for the express edition, but a full install of SQL Server already has it) has an "Activity Monitor" feature which lists exactly what you want.
Other than that,
code :
EXECUTE sp_who2
mysql - show processlist

mysql - show processlist

wish help you to fix your issue It's the client's port number used for the connection.
"xxx.xx.xxx.xxx:50197" means that there's an open connection from IP address "xxx.xx.xxx.xxx" and port 50197, towards your MySQL server (probably on port 3306.)

I wish did fix the issue. Use as.Date() which can take an integer or numeric argument. You will need to supply a proper origin. Just guest-imating this seems to work:
code :
R> as.Date(736685, origin="0000-01-01")
[1] "2016-12-22"
R> as.numeric(as.Date("2016-12-22"))
[1] 17157
R> as.numeric(as.Date("2016-12-22")) +
+ (as.Date("1970-01-01") - as.Date("0000-01-01"))
Time difference of 736685 days
R> as.numeric(as.Date("2016-12-22")) +
+ as.numeric((as.Date("1970-01-01") - as.Date("0000-01-01")))
[1] 736685
