.htaccess RewriteRule Exception

.htaccess RewriteRule Exception

fixed the issue. Will look into that further I have the following rules in my .htaccess file. The problem is when I try to navigate to site.com/news/wp-admin/, it ends up in a redirect loop. From other questions/answers I've read, you can create an exception by using RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !^/news/wp\-admin/ but this does not resolve the issue. It still redirects. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. , I assume you have Apache 2 so that mean you have to do it that way:
code :
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !^/?news/wp-admin/

wish of those help So you just need to ignore http://yourdomain.com/market-reports (in addition to files/directories?). You should be fine with:
code :
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !^/market-reports/?$

seems to work fine If all you need is to exclude requests with /page in the URI-path, you may try this:
code :
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !/page [NC]
RewriteRule ^(.*)/[0-9]+/?$ /$1/? [L,R=301]

I wish this helpful for you Here is my .htaccess file content , You have 2 solutions:
Add a rule for "ads" before others
code :
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
    RewriteEngine on
    RewriteRule  ^ads$ ads/ [L]
    RewriteRule  ^$ main/    [L]
    RewriteRule  (.*) main/$1 [L]
</IfModule>
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
    RewriteEngine on
    RewriteRule  ^$ main/    [L]

    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
    RewriteRule  (.*) main/$1 [L]
</IfModule>
Is RewriteRule in one .htaccess file allowed to pass to a RewriteRule in another one?

around this issue I was wondering: If I had a directory with .htaccess file inside it with a code similar to below: , In the subDirectory/, you can use this rule:
code :
RewriteEngine on

RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule ^([^.]+?)/?$ subSubDirectory/$1.html [L]
